Planning a party does not necessarily have to be stressful. There is a lot of work that goes into party planning however, if you were to begin the process early, then this will be very beneficial to you.
The Venue
The venue is one of the first aspects that you should look into. Without the venue a lot of other aspects cannot be confirmed. Before you pick out a venue however, you need to decide on what kind of party you want.
For example, are you looking for a garden themed party, a house party and outdoor party? Once you have decided on what kind of party you want you can then decide on the venue. For instance, if you want an outdoor party having it on a rooftop can be an option and you can look into Melbourne’s premier rooftop bar venue.

Too Long
It is important that you do not take too long to decide on a venue because keep in mind that although you saw a place that you liked, it could be booked by someone else within a matter of days. Therefore, to make sure that you do not lose out on a good venue it is important that you do not take too long to decide.
The Guest List
Once you have the venue you can then decide on the guest list as you first need to have a rough idea of how many people can be fitted into the venue. Once you have a rough number it will then be easier to plan the guest list.
Giving your friends and family at least a weeks’ notice is a good idea because this will give people the time to clear out their schedules. There is also a higher chance that more people will be attend the party if they are informed at least a few days before the party than opposed to the day before.
The Food
When deciding on the menu, it is important to make sure you order something for everyone. For example, if you only order meat dishes then the guest who are vegetarians and vegans will not be having anything to eat. Therefore, ordering the food to cater to everyone will be a good idea.

The Date
Having a party in the middle of the week can be inconvenient as people will have work the next day. It is also a good idea to keep in mind that people may be tired after work. Therefore, even though they decide to attend the party they may leave early or may not enjoy themselves as much as they could have if they were not exhausted after a long day of work.
Therefore, to prevent people from having to leave early in the instance they have an important meeting the next morning, having the party on a Friday night or over the weekend will be a good idea as then your guest will not have to work the next day and can enjoy themselves without having to worry about waking up early the next morning.
